Merge Archers sits where merge puzzles meet castle defence. Instead of aiming each shot yourself, you build a line of bowmen behind the walls and let them loose arrows at whatever marches in. Two matching archers dragged together become a single stronger unit, so the board is a constant question of when to combine and when to hold a pair back for the wave ahead. Sessions are short and steady rather than tense: a wave arrives, your squad thins it out, and you spend the gap rearranging slots and adding recruits. What separates Merge Archers from ordinary tower defence is that firepower comes from tidy grid management rather than reflexes, and from deciding which archers deserve promotion. How to Play Merge Archers

Play with the mouse: drag an archer onto a matching one to merge the pair into a stronger version, and drag units between slots to arrange your firing line. Click the purchase button to add fresh recruits between waves, and spend earned coins on upgrades. On phones and tablets the same actions work with a tap and drag. Shooting itself happens automatically once a wave begins.

Tips and Tricks

Keep buying the cheapest archers rather than hoarding coins; merging needs matching pairs, so a steady flow of low-tier units is what produces high-tier ones.
Leave at least one slot empty before a wave ends, otherwise you cannot place a new recruit and your merge chain stalls.
Do your merging and rearranging during the gap between waves, when nothing is being wasted, instead of fiddling with the grid while arrows are flying.
Balance depth against strength: a wide row of mid-tier archers clears crowds faster, while one heavily merged unit is better against tougher single enemies.
