Modern Air Warplane WW2 is a 3D air combat game that pits you against enemy jets in open sky. Despite the wartime name it uses modern aircraft and modern weapons, so fights happen at speed and at distance rather than in slow turning circles. You pick a plane, take it up and fight for control of the airspace, with missiles and guns each suited to different ranges. Air combat games are usually decided before the shooting starts, by who has the better position, and this one is no exception: altitude, speed and the direction you approach from matter more than reaction time. Modern Air Warplane WW2 keeps the controls arcade rather than simulator, so you can be flying properly within a minute.

How to Play Modern Air Warplane WW2

Fly using the arrow keys or WASD, with the mouse used to aim. Left click fires your guns and there is usually a separate key for missiles. Pull back to climb, push forward to dive, and use the throttle controls to manage your speed through a turn.

Tips and Tricks

Get above your target before engaging. Height converts into speed whenever you need it, and diving attacks are far harder to counter.
Use missiles at range and guns up close. Firing a missile in a knife fight almost always wastes it.
Keep your speed up through turns. A slow aircraft in a turn is the easiest target in the sky.
Break off and reposition when a fight is going badly rather than staying in it. Coming back with height beats losing the plane.
