About Flag Capture

Flag Capture is a first person shooter built around the capture the flag format. Two sides compete to take the opposing flag and bring it home, and you spend the match doing both jobs at once: pushing for their flag while defending or recovering your own. Several weapon types are available and they do more than deal damage, letting you freeze, burn or blow up an opponent who is standing between you and the objective. The physics is the part that gives the game its character, because explosions and impacts move bodies and objects in ways that change the shape of a fight. It plays quickly, with short rounds and constant movement rather than long standoffs.

How to Play Flag Capture

Move with the WASD keys or the arrow keys and aim with the mouse. Left click to fire and use the number keys or the scroll wheel to change weapon. The spacebar jumps. Reach the enemy flag to pick it up, then carry it back to your own base to score, and shoot an enemy carrier to recover your flag if it has been taken.

Tips and Tricks

Do not chase kills on the way to the flag. The clock and the objective matter more than the scoreboard.
Match the weapon to the situation. Explosives clear a defended flag point, while a freeze is better for stopping a carrier who is already running.
Watch your own flag while your team pushes. A base left completely empty is the fastest way to lose a round you were winning.
Use the physics. Blasting an opponent away from the flag is often more useful than trying to eliminate them outright.
