Real Motocross is a dirt bike racing game with a heavier lean towards realism than most browser racers. You compete against AI riders in single player or against other people in multiplayer, and between races you repair the bike and upgrade its parts. That progression matters, because the tracks get harder and a bike you have not maintained will not keep up. Motocross racing is about rhythm rather than top speed: the jumps, ruts and berms come in sequences, and riders who hit them smoothly beat riders who accelerate hard and land badly. Real Motocross rewards learning a track rather than attacking it, which is why lap times tend to drop steadily rather than all at once.

How to Play Real Motocross

Accelerate with the up arrow or W and brake with the down arrow or S. The left and right arrows lean the rider backwards and forwards, which controls your angle over jumps and on landing. Steering follows the track, so most of your input goes on throttle control and body position.

Tips and Tricks

Lean back off a jump and forward before landing. Landing level keeps your speed, while landing nose down loses it or throws you off.
Brake before a corner, not in it. Braking mid corner unsettles the bike and costs more time than entering slower would have.
Spend on repairs before upgrades. A damaged bike undoes any upgrade you bolt onto it.
Learn one track properly rather than switching after every loss. Knowing the sequence of jumps is worth more than any part you can buy.
