Merge Grabber combines merging with a running battle. You move forward collecting characters along the way, and matching characters merge into stronger versions, so a crowd of weak units becomes a smaller crowd of much better ones. The size and quality of your team decides how the fight at the end goes, which means the run itself is where the game is won or lost rather than the battle. That structure is what makes it hard to stop playing: a poor run is over quickly and a good one builds visible momentum. Merge Grabber rewards choosing carefully at speed, since grabbing everything is not always better than grabbing the right things and leaving the rest.

How to Play Merge Grabber

Move left and right by dragging on a touchscreen or using the mouse or arrow keys. Steer into the characters and gates you want to collect and avoid the ones that reduce your team. Matching units merge automatically as you gather them, and the battle at the end plays out based on the team you arrive with.

Tips and Tricks

Aim for merges rather than raw numbers. A smaller merged team beats a large unmerged one in almost every fight.
Take the multiplier gates over the addition gates when both are on offer. Multiplying a decent team is worth more than adding a few units.
Do not swerve across the whole track for one pickup. The units you lose on the way usually cost more than the one you gain.
Watch the gate values rather than their colour or position. The best route changes from run to run.
