First Colony is a puzzle and management game about running the first human settlement on Mars. You build structures, gather the resources they need and keep an eye on the colonists who depend on both. The decisions are the game. Resources arrive slowly, every building competes for the same materials, and a choice that solves today's shortage often creates next week's. Colonist condition is the measure that ties it together, because a colony that is expanding fast but neglecting its people does not stay expanding for long. The pace is unhurried and much of the pleasure is simply watching the settlement take shape, but the underlying puzzle is real and it does not forgive careless building.

How to Play First Colony

Click or tap to place buildings and to select the structures you want to manage. Resource and colonist information is shown on the interface panels, and you assign or adjust production by selecting a building and choosing from its options. Dragging moves the camera around the colony.

Tips and Tricks

Secure your resource production before expanding. New buildings are worthless if nothing is supplying them.
Watch colonist condition as closely as you watch materials. It is the measure that quietly decides whether the colony holds together.
Build compactly. Structures spread across the map are harder to supply than a tight cluster.
Do not start two large projects at once. Finishing one gives you its output, while two half built structures give you nothing.
