How to Play ArcadeAgar.io

Your cell follows the mouse pointer, or your finger on a touchscreen, so there is no separate movement button. Press the spacebar to split into two halves and fire one forward, which is how you catch smaller players. Hold W to shed a small amount of mass, handy for feeding an ally or squeezing through a gap. Pick a username before you start.

Tips and Tricks

Splitting halves your mass and leaves both pieces slower, so only do it when a target is close enough that the launched half will reach it before it can turn away.
Hug the edges of the map while you are small. Corners limit the angles a bigger cell can approach from, and other players tend to chase easier food in the middle.
Watch for cells roughly twice your size rather than the giants. Those are the ones that can split and still swallow you, and they are usually the ones hunting.
When a much larger cell splits at you and misses, chase it immediately. Its pieces are separated and sluggish for a few seconds, which is the best window you will get to eat one.
