Tumble Master is a sports game built around one narrow skill: getting a flip all the way round and landing on your feet. Each attempt begins from height, on a ledge, a roof or a platform, and asks you to choose a launch moment, manage the rotation and arrive upright rather than in a heap. The physics handle the rest, so a fraction of a second too long on the jump, or a little too much spin, is enough to ruin an otherwise clean backflip. Runs are short, which suits the trial-and-error rhythm of watching what went wrong, nudging the timing and going again. The parkour setting adds variety a flat trampoline game lacks, because the drop height changes how much air you have to work with. It rewards patient reading of each jump more than quick reflexes.

How to Play Tumble Master

Click or press the spacebar to launch from the edge, then hold to keep spinning and release to straighten up for the landing. The mouse or the arrow keys adjust your tilt while you are in the air. Try to be close to upright as your feet meet the ground. A bad landing simply ends the attempt, and you can start the next one straight away.

Tips and Tricks

Read the drop before you jump. A tall fall gives you time for a full backflip, while a low ledge may only allow half a rotation before you hit the ground.
Stop the spin slightly earlier than feels right, because momentum carries you a little further round than it looks in the air.
A scruffy landing on your feet counts for more than a graceful spin that finishes on your shoulders, so prioritise the finish over the shape of the trick.
When an attempt fails, change one thing only, usually the release point by a fraction. Big adjustments make it hard to tell what actually fixed the landing.
