About Ski Rush

Ski Rush is a downhill skiing game built around one simple goal: stay on the mountain as long as you can. The slope scrolls beneath you without end, and trees, rocks and other obstacles appear in the path ahead, so most of your attention goes on reading the gaps and steering into them early. Scattered between the hazards are flags, and collecting them pushes your score up, which turns each descent into a quiet trade-off between the safe line and the profitable one. Runs are short by nature, since a single collision finishes them, and that makes it the kind of sports game you replay in bursts rather than settle into for an hour. What sets Ski Rush apart from other arcade skiing titles is how little it explains; the difficulty comes from pace and reaction, not from systems.

How to Play Ski Rush

Steer with the left and right arrow keys, or use A and D if you prefer. On a phone or tablet, tap the side of the screen you want to move towards, or drag a finger across it. Weave between the trees and rocks, pass through flags to build your score, and keep skiing until you hit something. Nothing to install.

Tips and Tricks

Watch the top of the screen rather than your skier. Obstacles are easier to avoid with a small early correction than a hard swerve at the last moment.
Skip any flag sitting directly behind an obstacle. A handful of points is rarely worth ending a run that is already going well.
Use short taps instead of holding a direction down, since long presses tend to carry you straight into the hazard on the far side.
Obstacle clusters almost always leave one clear lane. Pick it and commit, because drifting in the middle usually means clipping something on either edge.
