About Electric Man

Electric Man is a stickman fighting game built around close-quarters brawling against a run of computer-controlled opponents. You play a plain stick figure in the colour you picked, with a surprisingly deep move set, chaining punches, kicks and jumping attacks until everyone the game sends at you is on the floor. Before the first fight you name your character, choose its colour, and set the difficulty to easy, normal or pro, which decides how hard the opposition hits back. A short tutorial covers movement and the basic combos, so the controls make sense before the real matches begin. Sessions are quick and rhythmic: learn the timing, work out which strings actually connect, then repeat. What sets Electric Man apart from most beat 'em ups is its minimalism. No weapons, barely any scenery, just silhouette combat and reaction speed.

How to Play Electric Man

Move with the arrow keys or WASD, and jump with the up key or spacebar. Punch and kick using the attack keys the tutorial introduces, then string them together for combos. Work through the tutorial first if the move set is new to you. Clear every opponent in a stage to progress; lose all your health and the fight starts again.

Tips and Tricks

Run the tutorial even if you play fighting games often, since it is the only place the full move set is laid out and the combos are difficult to guess.
Back into open ground so the group has to come to you one or two at a time instead of closing in from both sides.
Keep moving between attack strings. The moment straight after a finished combo is when you are most likely to get hit.
Start on easy or normal to learn the timing of each attack; pro difficulty punishes button-mashing quickly.
