Moto Maniac 2 is a physics based motorbike game and the follow up to the original Moto Maniac. This time the course is a bridge at night, and the bridge is still under construction, which is the whole problem. Gaps in the deck, obstacles left across the surface and a long drop underneath mean the ride is as much about balance as about speed. Physics bike games work because the bike behaves like an object rather than a sprite, so leaning too far forward on a landing tips you over the handlebars just as it would in reality. Moto Maniac 2 asks you to go fast and punishes you for going fast carelessly, which is a tension that keeps riders replaying the same stretch until they get it clean.

How to Play Moto Maniac 2

Use the up arrow or W to accelerate and the down arrow or S to brake. The left and right arrows lean the bike backwards and forwards in the air, which is what controls your landing angle. Getting the lean right before you touch down matters more than anything else in the game.

Tips and Tricks

Lean back going up a ramp and forward coming down. Landing flat is what keeps your speed rather than losing it.
Ease off the throttle before a gap rather than after it. Arriving at the right speed beats correcting mid air.
Land on both wheels wherever you can. A front wheel landing throws you over the bars almost every time.
Learn one obstacle at a time. Rushing the section after a crash usually means crashing at the same place again.
