Pantheon is a match-three puzzle game built on the familiar routine of swapping two neighbouring pieces to line up three or more of a kind. The boards are stocked with fruit — lemons, berries, watermelons — and clearing them chips away at whatever the level happens to be asking for. Those goals shift as you go: some boards want ice cubes broken, some want fruit released from locks, and others ask you to move a key across the grid to a portal. Larger matches produce power-ups such as bombs and cross blasters, which wipe out rows or whole pockets of the board at once. Every stage is scored out of three stars, so a bare clear is rarely the best result available. Pantheon also keeps leaderboards, and new levels, obstacles and modes are added over time.

Click and drag a piece onto an adjacent one, or swipe between them on a touchscreen, to swap the pair. The swap only holds if it forms a line of three or more matching fruit. Tap a power-up to set it off, or match it into a combination for a wider clear. Check the goal shown for the level before spending moves.

Tips and Tricks

• Read the level goal first. Chasing big fruit matches in the top corners is wasted effort when the ice cubes or locked pieces you need to reach are along the bottom.
• Work low on the board where you can. Clearing pieces near the base drops everything above them, which often sets off matches you did not have to pay a move for.
• Save bombs and cross blasters instead of firing them the moment they appear. Two power-ups matched together, or one dropped into a crowded cluster, clears far more than either does alone.
• If you are one star short, replay rather than pushing on. Star ratings reward efficient clears, and a level you already know the layout of is much cheaper to three-star on a second run.
